Romence Gardens - Tentative Schedule For Fertilizer Application

The actual dates for fertilizer applications are not exact.
Weather conditions play a very important part of scheduling.

Step1:  Fertilizer plus Crabgrass Prevention
Should be applied before ground temperature reaches 60F.
Apply between April 15th and May 15th.
Broadcast Spreader Open 25%
Water after applying.

Step 2:  Fertilizer plus Weed Killer
Should be applied when most weeds are growing, and 4-6 weeks after step 1.
Broadcast Spreader Open 20%
Apply between May 20th and June 10th.
Apply when grass is wet.  No rain for 48 hours after applying.

Step 3:  Romence Premium Fertilizer
Apply 4-6 weeks after step 2.  Between June 20th and July 10th.
Broadcast Spreader Open 25%
Water in after applying.

Step 4:  Romence Premium Fertilizer
Broadcast Spreader Open 25%
Water after applying.
Apply before September 15th.

Step 4b or 5:  Romence 11-22-6
Apply later in fall. (October-November)
Broadcast Spreader Open 25%
Water after applying.
